Nursie Transparent Booster

Description

Meet Nursie – your signal’s “medical” assistant. She will invigorate your guitar output by injecting an optimal dose of boost whenever you need it. She is very dedicated to keeping it sterile and clean.

Nursie is designed to work as a full range and transparent booster providing up to 24dB of boost. The circuit internally doubles the available clean headroom to provide distortion-free operation, leaving your signal as clean and transparent as can be. Whenever you want to boost the volume of your instrument, push your tube amp into more “crunchy” territory, provide an additional source of gain to your dirt pedals  or simply buffer your signal – she is your girl!

This Lady provides a high input and low output impedance, to achieve high signal fidelity. It is build with the highest quality, low noise, audio-grade components, and is suitable for both live and studio applications.

Controls

Boost:

Controls the output volume of the pedal.

• Turn fully counter-clockwise for unity gain (the pedal operates as a signal buffer)
• Turn clockwise to increase the output volume up to +24dB.

DualMode Footswitch:

The pedal has an intelligent True Bypass switching mechanism which recognises two different usages of a booster pedal:

• Select “Latching mode” to use the pedal for a longer time. This works the same way as any other standard pedal. 
• Select “Solo mode” to highlight a shorter phrase. The pedal will be engaged as long as you keep the switch pressed, and turns off as soon as you release the switch.
